Accuracy and verification

Sources and facts are checked before a story is published. Information from unnamed sources is published only with supporting evidence wherever possible.

Mistakes are corrected quickly and, where needed, a note of the correction appears at the end of the article. To report an error, please contact us.

Originality and copyright

We publish original reporting. When we use someone else’s text or photograph, we give the source and credit.
